Hafenstrom AS was established in 2013 as an ESCO service company for the production of new renewable power and energy efficiency aimed at shore power plants for ports in Norway.
The company became involved early on in European research and development work within IoT and digitzation platforms, e.g, for smart neighbourhoods (VICNITY-H2020), energy flexibility for ports (GIFT-H2020), open digital ecosystem for smart societies and rural areas (AURORAL-H2020).
We curently have 6 employees and are based in Narvik. Hafenstrom leads the international the standardization comitee for the Internet-of-Things and Digital Twins under the auspices of the Norwegian Electrotechnical Comitee (NEK).

We normally work as a service company for the production of new newewable power and energy efficiency aimed at the shore power plants for ports in Norway.
In this project, we are developing a service and a system within energy management and prepardeness, and will use our expertise in strategy development and data consolidation towards municipal preppardeness and effort management for optimized utilization of drone. The goal is that the various parties involved will be able to interact in a much better way today, and that they can use the same system both in readniness and in actual.
