Detailed Version
Hafenstrom AS was established in 2013 as an ESCO service company for the production of new renewable power and energy efficiency aimed at shore power plants for ports in Norway.
The company became involved early on in European research and development work within IoT and digitization platforms, e.g., for smart neighbourhoods (VICINITY-H2020), energy flexibility for ports (GIFT-H2020), open digital ecosystem for smart societies and rural areas (AURORAL-H2020).
We currently have 6 employees and are based in Narvik. Hafenstrom leads the international the standardization committee for Internet-of-Things and Digital Twins under the auspices of the Norwegian Electrotechnical Committee (NEK).

We normally work as a service company for the production of new renewable power and energy efficiency aimed at shore power plants for ports in Norway.
In this project, we are developing a service and a system within energy management and preparedness, and will use our expertise in strategy development and data consolidation towards municipal preparedness and effort management for optimized utilization of drones. The goal is that the various parties involved will be able to interact in a much better way today, and that they can use the same system both in readiness and in actual
