Lars Monrad-Krohn

Lars Monrad-Krohn graduated as MSc in Electronics, Technical University of Norway (NTH) and from Royal Norwegian Air Force Radar and Electronics School. He has attended several courses and trainings, Program for Leadership training, Smaller Company Management Program, Harvard Business School and Leadership training for incubator leaders, SIVA. ‘His wide working experience includes activities as a Research assistant at the Norwegian Technical University, Norwegian Defense Research Establishment, Developer of digital building blocks for construction of computers and digital equipment, programming of mathematical algorithms for Ferranti digital computer at the Laboratory for Nucelar Science, Massachusetts Institue of Technology, “Guest of the Institute” and member of the Faculty under Prof. Irvin Pless on the construction of a computer-based bubble chamber film scanning system. He was also Group Leader and responsible for development of first norwegia-built computer based on integrated circuits, and for planning and installing a Satelite Readout Station in Tromsø, Norway under contract with European Sattelite Research Organization. He was Founder and Chief Executive of several computer companies, namely NORSK DATA AS, MYCRON AS, TIKI-DATA a.s , NCNOR.AS . He was a tutor in the graduate school of Institute for Informatics, Systems division of the University of Oslo and a Lecturerer in McKinsey’s VentureCup2000 business plan competition. Since 1997, he was Incubator Manager in Oslo Research Park and responsible for Curriculum and Exam for participants in VentureCup, Professor in lecturing Master courses in Commercial Biotechnology for an international class, Hedmark University College, Hamar, Norway. He has been awarded with Norwegian Computing Society “Årespris” (Prize of honor) for 2005, Computer World’s “Golden Mouse Honor Prize” for contributions to the norwegian computer industry and the work on Network Computers 1998, IEEE Centennial Medal for contributions to computer industry and research 1984, Elected member of the Norwegian Academy for Technical Sciences 1978, Norwegian Technological and Industrial Institute (NTNF): Honor Prize 1976, Appointed full Professor in Computer Science at the Norwegian Technical University 1969.

Wendy Wuyts

Wendy Wuyts is an interdisciplinary sustainability expert. She did her Bachelor in Geography, with extra courses in social and economic science, at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. After working in the world of communication and leading an European student association, she received her MSc in Industrial Ecology from the University of Graz (Austria), the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden). She has a PhD in environmental science from Nagoya University, one of Japan’s top universities, for which she received a scholarship from the Japanese government. As a Sustainability advisor, she has a solid background in systems thinking and can work in projects in different fields: insect bioconversion of organic waste (Belgium), surveying with Trimble and 3D scanners during an archeological excavation campaign (Turkey) or helping in a feasibility study of circular hubs for the reuse of wood (Norway). She is trained to identify key drivers and leverage points and address root causes within the system. She has international working experience for more than 15 years. Next to her main part-time job in Omtre AS, she supports Hafenstrom in social sustainability related tasks in European projects and proposals (e.g tasks related to gender dimension, stakeholder engagement). Asbjørn Hovstø received his MSc in Project Administration, Henley Business School and having more than 30 years of experience in European projects with main interest in Intelligent Transport Systems, Health, Security & Safety, Biometrics, Wireless Sensor Technology and Smart grids, Smart cities. He was work package leader of Requirements in VICINITY2020 project. Having certification as Recognised Security Organisation for seaports he has been working with security and privacy questions for the last 20 years in digital signature schemes, protection profiles and legal entities. He has participated in several EU funded projects like MDG09 Health Message Developments, NETCARDS, BIOHEALTH, VICINITY and GIFT. He has been a member of CEN-CENELEC-ETSI Smart and Sustainable Cities and Communities Coordination Group and was appointed Project leader European Innovation Partnership (EIP). Today, he is mirror group leader for NEK SC41 IoT and related technologies, information security of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 and certified Information Security Management (ISO 27001).

Flemming Sveen

Flemming Sveen received his MSc in Information Technology and have worked within the ICT sector since 1989. As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in new development and deployment of advanced system solutions with a focus on user experience and communication skills. He has been involved in and delivered a number of large projects, including concept development, marketing strategies, conferences and seminars. He was pivotal in founding departments in Triona, Oktan and Halify that focus on logistics solutions and operations of geospatial services to NPRA and transport providers. Furthermore, he has worked with various member organisations ITS Norway, Integra, Oslo ICT Network and Tekna. Flemming played a key role in establishing ITS Arena with collaboration with among others Innovation Norway and the Research Council. He has worked for the VICINITY project since 2016 as Dissemination and Communication manager and was responsible for developing the Data Management plan. 

Anders Fjelstad

Anders Fjelstad is an experienced ICT expert common with agile methodology, project management and Scrum methodologies. He has a certification in PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner, and recently certification in Scrum Master and Scrum Product. Anders has over the last couple of years been working with project management, team leadership and scrum master. Anders had a team of developers outsourced within his projects and been working with solution descriptions, functional designs and requirements specifications. He has many years of experience with Microsoft technologies and is experienced with programming tools.
