Hafenstrom is part of NCE Cleantech Maritime expertise

Hafenstrom is proud to inform that we have become part of NCE Maritime Cleantechs  (www.maritimecleantech.no) cluster offering Norwegian maritime expertise. The organisation, representing one of the world’s most complete maritime commercial hubs offer a springboard for the development of new energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies.

Through NCE Maritime CleanTechs commitment to strengthen the cluster partners’ competitiveness, Hafenstrom will benefit from the network to continue developing and launching innovative shoreside solutions – with a specific focus smart harbour, IoT and big data.

Hafenstrom has a long history of partnering up with public and private entities for European funded projects. Participating in the NCE Cleantech Maritimes network will further strengthen our knowledgebase and efforts targeting sustainable maritime solution. Through cooperation with other strong partners (www.maritimecleantech.no/participants) we will be able to strengthen our presence in more stages of the maritime value chain.

The cluster is a member of Norwegian Innovation Clusters (www.innovationclusters.no), while other important partners of the network include The Research Council of Norway, Siva, Innovation Norway.

NCE Cleanteach Maritime is one of the European gold labelled clusters (www.cluster-analysis.org/gold-label-new). This is a significant achievement, and important to Hafenstrom as it is awarded to cluster management organisations that demonstrate a high level of professionalism and sophisticated cluster management. Cluster management organisations holding a GOLD Label show their documented commitment towards a continuous improvement of their organisational structures and routines for the benefit of an even higher performance. The label is only valid for two years and means the management organisation meet certain “levels of excellence” in terms of structure of the cluster, governance, financing, strategy and services and recognition.
