Hafenstrom participation at summit 2022, Alentejo, Portugal

Hafenstrom will be present at the summit «European Regions for Smart Communities »  in Alentejo,  Portugal in the period 9th – 14th May. During this convention we will be presenting the drone-based health/wellbeing pilot and discuss opportunities and collaborations. Also, other related projects will be discussed.

The summit is coordinated by Marcos António Nogueira and organised through the Horizon2020-funded project AURORAL and CCDR Alentejo. This will be a hybrid event, accessible both online and in Évora in Alentejo, Portugal. Based on previous experiences, more than 20,000 digital participants are expected.

The summit is targeted at stakeholders such as public officials, investors, entrepreneurs, innovators and representatives of local and regional authorities. Decision makers, opinion makers and regulators from a wide area of fields are the focus on the summit that includes lectures, forums, opportunities for dialogues, workshops, laboratories, cultural experiences and other activities aimed at strengthening the role of regional hubs for smart societies that want to achieve the green, digital transformation.

The aim of the “European Regions for Smart Communities” is set to promote a common vision for cooperation, interoperability and innovation that responds to the challenges of digital transformation. For this reason, it will bring together local and regional leaders from across Europe to discuss how to involve citizens and other stakeholders in the development of smarter cities, towns, settlements and regions.
